Sussex Under-17 Squad from 2013

The Sussex under 17 squad from 2013 are up for another award after winning the County Championship and the National T20 competition last year.
The team have been nominated and shortlisted for the Best Sports Team Award at the forthcoming Sussex Awards. These awards have been designed to celebrate what makes this such a great county to live and work in. There are eleven awards that cover all aspects of life in the area including arts, business and sport.
The Sussex under 17s won the Young team of the year award at last year’s Sussex sports awards to top off a great season.
Sussex Women & Girls Director of Cricket, Charlotte Burton Said, “The under 17 side had a fantastic year last year winning the Championship and T20 and it is great that the side are still being recognised for their achievements. The awards night falls on the same time as the current side will be involved in the T20 competition, but those who are not out of age group will represent the team at the awards evening.”
The Sussex Awards are held on Friday 30th May at The Hilton Brighton Metropole starting at 7pm.
